GENERAL INFORMATION

TRANSPORATION

Airfare is to be booked by Agent and their guest.
You will want to fly into Montego Bay - Sangster International Airport (MBJ)
To comfortably arrive in time to make the Welcome Reception Cocktail Hour, we recommend your flight land by 2:00pm local time to give enough time to clear customs, obtain luggage and make the drive down.
- The resort is located approximately 90 minutes South of the airport.
Once you've landed and cleared customs and baggage claim, a representative will be there holding a sign with our WPM logo to greet you and escort you to the resort.
- The same group will provide transportation back to the airport on the day of departure.We will remain on property for the entirety of the trip, so any additional transportation will be at the discretion of agent/guest.
Due to recommended safety precautions however, we do not recommend traveling off property during your stay.

CHECK IN & OUT:

Upon arrival to resort a Western Penn Representative will be there to meet you and escort you to our Group check in location.
Check in for the resort officially at 3:00, however if you arrive earlier and your room is not yet available, the resort will hold your bags in a secure location and you have full access of the resort available to you including use of the pools, restaurants and bars.
Check out on our day of departure is at 11:00am, and again if your transfer is not until later in the afternoon, you are still able to use all of the amenities on property.

DRESS CODE:

As this is a beach resort, dress code for most events and locations is casual.
For our welcome reception, business meeting and group excursion we stick with casual as well, let's be comfortable on vacation!
For our Farewell Dinner on the final night, we go with our version of Beach Smart - think short sleeve button up and light weight shorts for the guys and sundresses or linen style pants/skirt for the ladies.
Restaurants - with 9 different restaurants & 2 food trucks, dining options plentiful, while the vast majority are resort casual, there are 1-2 options that want you feeling just a little fancy, so pack accordingly.
- "Resort Evening Attire": Dress pants or jeans for men, long or short sleeve dress shirts (with or without collar). Dress shoes or sandals. No shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, sneakers, flip flops or slippers. No hats.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Details: The week prior to the trip we will email you a detailed trip packet PDF that will include the information above along with additional changes or travel details.
Safety: While having fun is important, safety is always our #1 priority. The US Government currently has a Level 3 Travel Advisory status for Jamaica. After reviewing the details of what this means, and where the issues are predominantly occurring, we are comfortable with continuing with our current plans. We will be continuously monitoring for any changes, and will notify you immediately if anything changes, however we are confident that working with the reputable companies for transportation, remaining at the resort for the duration of the trip, and practicing common sense we will have a wonderful and safe week. Communication: While the entire WPM Team will be kept in the loop and available for assistance, Julie will be your main point of contact leading up to, and once traveling.
- Check with your cellular service 48-72hours prior to travel to ensure you have the plan/settings you need.
- Recommend downloading the WhatsApp app for your phone - great way to communicate via WiFi while abroad.
